The club has a superb flying field in a great location, by the side of a nature reserve.  We enjoy almost unrestricted flying. If the weather is fine and it's daylight hours, we can fly.  If it is fit to fly, there will usually be members flying at the field.

All types of models are catered for.  Most members currently fly electric RC planes, but there are also many who fly IC, Helicopters and even Control Line.

The clubs holds a number of events each year:

• Bonfire Night Fireworks.
• Open Days, where members of the public are invited to fly a Radio Controlled plane under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
• World Record Day, where the club takes part in the world record attempt for the number of RC planes in the sky at one time.
• Fun contests where members carry out tasks such as spot landing, highest number of take offs and landings in a certain time, perform simple aerobatic manoeuvres and accurate egg dropping (not on other members!).
